Pass the Utah Horse Tripping Bill 2/23/15
Pass the Utah Horse Tripping Bill 2/23/15
The Issue
FIRST OFF, WE DO APOLOGIZE IF YOU GET MULTIPLE EMAILS REGARDING THE SAME THING AS THIS WILL CIRCULATE THROUGH THE HORSE INDUSTRY.
Several of us in Utah have been working very hard with Ken Ivory ( R ) District 47 - House of Representatives to get the Horse Tripping Bill passed in Utah. As many of you may know horse tripping has been banned in many states across America and we are urging Utah to follow suit. Ken has been fantastic in his fight to get this law passed in Utah that will soon go to our Capital this year. HOWEVER, it is of urgency that we receive as much support either in writing or at the Capital next Tuesday or Wednesday ( Confirmed dates will be sent out to everyone on Friday evening once the committee decides on the date next week) If you would like to attend next Tuesday or Wednesday at the Capital, Please be sure to let us know in your email so we can keep track of accurate count.
Please send you email of Support to abolish horse tripping in Utah or in any state for that matter to:
Leslietopham36@Yahoo.com
Or
Heather@ancestryphotos.com
Please be sure to put in subject line: For support of the Bill.
We are taking the task of compiling the emails for Ken Ivory for this very important agenda.
We MUST have your email no later than Sunday February 16, 2015.
If you have not heard of Horse Tripping or Big Loop Roping, Please see the following Videos, you won’t need much to be convinced to have it banned all across the United States.

The following is a list of the 14 legislators that are on the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Committee. They will hold a hearing about the bill next week (3rd week of February). It's important that people come to the hearing for a show of support of the bill.
Before then, we are hoping that the 14 committee members will receive a flood of emails in support of the bill. Their emails are listed below.
Twelve other states have already passed legislation and we hope that Utah will do the same.
