The majority of the people in the Utah government are LDS. Because religion is founded on racism, it is scary to have them in government. Someone once told me that their religion is racist, but it doesn't mean they are racist in government.

Okay. Point taken. But are you saying they are committed to a racist religion but they don't believe in racism? So, why are they still in the church? What's at stake? Please educate me.

I believe they remain in the church because the scriptures have been edited to exclude the racist parts. I believe they remain because they don't think the church is racist. The list goes on.

Listen to all of the stories of Black people who have been harmed and are being harmed by the LDS church. Ask the LDS church to correct its injustices. As I said, simply taking pictures of their acts of service among Black communities is a distraction.  I demand justice. I know that others are waiting to hear from the Mormon church or its Utah theocracy.  They need to fix their mistakes. It is the only way!
