I NEED YOUR HELP! In October of last year the Utah Jazz fired Jon Absey; “the man who built the Bear mascot into an award-winning role model for NBA franchises”. To add insult to injury they chose to reveal his name (a closely guarded secret that Jon had kept throughout his 24 year career). While I believe that the Jazz have every right to make the business decision to “move on in a different direction”; I believe that the time has come for the Utah Jazz to do the honorable thing. Bring Jon back to the arena and retire the jersey that he wore for 24 years and raise it into the rafters!
