New animal friendly shelter director!
North Utah Valley Animal Shelter (NUVAS) is here to best serve the needs of it's citizens. It is my opinion, NUVAS is failing the citizen's and animal's of North Utah County.
One of the highest kill rates in the state of Utah.
Still utilizes the gas chamber to euthanize animals.
Returned large grant to the Humane Society of the United States and private donors. A grant that would have transitioned euthanasia from gas chamber to humane option of euthanasia by injection.
Declined substantial offer from Best Friends Animal Society for a pilot program for community cats.
Does little to involve the citizens of North Utah County in promotions or community programs.
No pro-active actions to save animal lives.
