A mass text was sent out about Hubert Huh’s leadership in the local chapter of “United families international”. This group is focused on propagating notions of homophobia. 
This is deeply concerning because a platform of human rights is not conducive to ascertaining a mere city council seat. This has undertones of Huh’s larger Utah political ambitions. It would be disastrous if Huh used any seat of power (including Draper City Council) to gain notoriety enough to attain higher and more prominent seats of power. 
Recently, Utah banned conversion therapy— a huge win for the state! However, seeing a person that condones the practice (even after widespread APA disaffirmance of conversion therapy) in any office would be disgruntling for all of the prior LGBTQIA+ work done. Protect the LGBTQIA+ youth of today and sign this petition urging Mr. Huh to drop out of the race (one that he missed the filing deadline for and had to sue Draper City to attain candidate standing status).
