UT Austin December graduates deserve to be celebrated for their academic achievements with an in-person graduation ceremony. After dedicating themselves to the University, and withstanding the struggles that COVID-19 brought upon their college experience, students should feel appreciated and be congratulated by UT Austin. Students and parents are the ones who support the institution making it what it is today. That same support must be reciprocated from the University toward its students. UT has revealed that it is not within their financial means to plan and execute a graduation event this December similar to what they did for the graduating class of May 2021. Please support this mission to achieve an in-person graduation ceremony for the December 2021 graduates who have worked hard and deserve to be recognized for their success. We must show the University of Texas at Austin that they need to prioritize the accomplishments of the students that endlessly give to their institution.
