As a "newspaper" funded by the Australian public and USYD fee-paying students, Honi Soit has an obligation to cater to the views of all. While the vast majority of the time, few students living in the real world genuinely care what the editors with a huge victim-bias and great deal of self importance write, when the newspaper condones North Korea's severe human rights abuses, it has to end. 

Imagine all the people who been subject the persecution of a dictatorship- this article shows extreme ignorance and insensitivity above all.

Honi has refused to offer an apology or express that the views of its authors do not reflect the views of the publication. I do not want my university fees going towards support of North Korea, or anti-semitism. 

While shutting down the newspaper is extreme, the threat and realisation that there is support for the cause may cause reform and a more realistic view of the world.
