As an American consumer, I am appalled by how Apple, Inc is getting away with its constant patent trolling. By trolling, I mean acquiring technology-related patents about every little feature an electronic device such as a mobile phone can have. Then they will use them to sue their competition. Recently, HTC Corporation was slapped by an import ban on their latest phones, phones that US consumers have been anticipating but had to wait for because the ITC (International Trade Commission) decided to do some "investigating."

HTC isn't the only manufacturer that was targeted with lawsuits. Samsung, the world's number one smartphone manufacturer, has also seen two of its products (Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Nexus) banned by a Judge named Lucy Koh in two separate occasions.

I am asking the director of the USTPO (United States Patent and Trademark Office), ITC and the President of the United States to find a solution to this non-sense. Basically, the way I see it is whatever Apple wants, Apple gets.

If apple cannot innovate anymore in the mobile industry, they should concentrate on other parts of their so lucrative business. Stop bullying othees because they found ways to offer better products to consumers than the ones you have,
