They are dying! But you can save them! The Eastern Lowland Gorillas are critically endangered and are heading towards extinction, but by donating your old and unused digital devices to Zoos Victoria we can create a better future for our gorillas!

The materials used for digital devices, such as phones, laptops and iPads, come from mines in the gorillas’ habitats. In order to make these mines humans need to cut down trees and blow massive holes! If the gorillas do not have a home, they cannot settle down to reproduce, meaning no babies, and no more gorillas. And life would be so terrible without our adorable little gorillas.

Already, the kind people of earth have donated over 100,000 old and broken phones alone and saved over 300 Eastern Lowland Gorillas. So technically, you have saved a whole bunch of gorillas! And you can save even more. Please! They need you!

If we do not stop, we will wipe out the Eastern Lowland Gorilla population and probably many other gorilla species too. And think of all the other animals we are killing, not just the gorillas! Think of the birds and lizards.
