Use the Majula Chest in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin when the Servers are Back
The Issue
In Dark Souls 2, the chest in the basement of the Majula Mansion was previously used to gift a few special items; A unique online feature that was only used a handful of times in the original version of the game. This feature was never used in the Scholar of the First Sin re-release, and as a result a few unique weapon reskins were never able to be obtained legitimately in what should be considered the definitive version of the game.
A reskinned Murakumo, Blacksteel Katana, Longsword, and Great Club were the main items rolled out before these events finally ended in early 2015 (before Scholar of the First Sin released):
While Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin is an older game and continued updates are unrealistic, it was taken offline earlier this year for unexpected maintenance. This server maintenance seems like the one possible opportunity to see it used again for the last time! If there was ever a time where someone was getting reacquainted with the servers, and someone might be able to push through an update for the chest, I believe this is it.
This might be our last chance to get these weapons into the game so I'm humbly requesting that From Software and Bandai Namco dust off the Majula Mansion Chest (aka the "Treasure Box") and utilize it one last time for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (DX11). It would be an amazing way to celebrate the PC servers coming back online when they're ready. Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to making excellent video games!

P.S.
There were three more weapon reskins that can be found in the game's files that are currently unused content. They were fully finished; Ostensibly more reskins that were considered for release at some point but never happened.
These included a reskinned Rapier, Greataxe, and Caestus, and it would be amazing if these were considered as things that could be added formally into the game after all of these years:
