Wow. This petition was created just yesterday evening. I was going to be happy with 100 signatures over three days. I wake up today and we're closing in on 500! That's amazing news, thank you to each person who has signed and shared. Please help me take advantage of the next three days and continue to share. We want the well-intentioned officials of Ocracoke to truly understand how many people would be sadly affected by the wrong decision, and how favorable they will appear when they choose the humane decision on handling this very real problem.
