Hi Everyone, Horrible reports continue to emerge about atrocities in Syria and callous remarks by President Trump and DOD Secretary Esper about the US abandonment of the Kurds after they fought valiantly to help us defeat ISIS. There are reports of war crimes including use of chemical weapons, multiple violations of the "cease-fire," and a new report of leaked Russian intelligence indicating a coordinated effort between Turkey, Russia, and Syria to crush the Kurd's independence.

Please keep calling Congress and demand that they act! This tragic situation will continue to get worse until Congress steps up and takes more decisive actions against it.

We are also continuing to work on efforts in Congress (both the House and the Senate) to get a classified briefing on the Kamran family's case and the 99% drop in admissions of Iraqi US military interpreters. There is interest in Congress in granting visas to Kurds who worked with our military, but right now the Trump Admin has made all existing visa programs completely dysfunctional.
