Hi Everyone, We are continuing to work with Congress to get a briefing on the Kamran family's case. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services continues to refuse to give Muhammad and his family a visa AND refuse to tell Congress why they claimed that not only Muhammad but also his four-year-old daughter were a discretionary "security concern." Several bipartisan House and Senate offices are working on letters and briefing requests to try to get information on the Kamran family's case as well as the back-door policy changes that led to a 99.7% decrease in admissions of Iraqi US military interpreters as refugees last year.
Also the violence in Syria against our allies the Kurds is continuing despite the supposed ceasefire negotiated by Russia, yet Sen. Mitch McConnell is stalling bipartisan legislation to sanction Turkey over its war crimes in Syria.
Please call Mitch McConnell's office at (202) 224-2541 and ask him to allow a vote on this legislation. Our country must stop this shameful pattern of betraying our allies in the War on Terror.
Here is a link to find your own Representative and Senators and also call them and tell them to save our allies.
