USCIS Nebraska Service Center Must Process Delayed Premium Processing EB-1A Cases

The Issue

We, a group of EB-1A applicants, demand immediate action from USCIS regarding severe delays in premium processing at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC).

The Issue:

Our cases were filed with premium processing in December 2024 – January 2025 at NSC.

Despite the 15-day premium processing rule, our cases have been placed in an indefinite “queue” with no clear processing timeframe.

Meanwhile, newer premium cases are being processed on time to avoid refund obligations.

This selective backlog only affects Nebraska cases, while other service centers continue processing premium applications within the expected timeframe.

Our Demand:

We urge USCIS to:

1. Immediately process all delayed premium EB-1A applications at NSC.

2. Provide a clear timeline for pending cases instead of keeping applicants in uncertainty.

3. Ensure fair and consistent processing across all service centers.

Why It Matters:

EB-1A applicants are high-skilled individuals who contribute significantly to the U.S. economy.

Delays disrupt careers, families, and investments made under the expectation of timely adjudication.

Premium processing is a paid service, and USCIS must be held accountable for honoring its commitments.
