I grew up with the terror of both "The World of The Unknown: Ghosts" and this book "The Usborne Guide to the Supernatural World". I was so scared of it that my Dad had to keep it in his bedside cabinet over night, and yet I would also read it and re-read it and was fascinated by the content. I even interviewed friends at school with the Ghost investigation report form! Obviously it too went out of print at some point. I recently tried to find a copy for my 12 year old daughter who loved "The World of the Unknown: Ghosts" and who would love this book too - but its selling for silly money. I'm sure the child readers of the 80's have hundreds of children who are now into Vampires and Werewolves in a big way, so its time to reprint this classic in the same way "World Of The Unknown: Ghosts" was reprinted.

It is worth noting that "The Usborne Guide to the Supernatural world was an omnibus edition of 3 smaller guides - "Haunted Houses, Ghosts and Spectres", "Vampires, Werewolves and Demons", and "Mysterious Powers and Strange Forces" so if you had any of these books then please sign the petition!
