This is a petition to move the venue of the USATF 2022 Masters Indoor National Championships or if unable to move it a petition to cancel it due to discrimination practices. By holding the Championships at the Armory in New York City, USATF chooses a venue that discriminates against some of its members.  Vaccination requirements for both the Armory and eating/indoor venues without exemption in New York City make it impossible for those members of USATF to participate who cannot or choose not to be vaccinated for Covid-19 due to medical, religious or personal beliefs.This decision by USATF (Masters division)  is a discrimination against USATF members.
Instead of a vaccination requirement, since vaccination is not 100% effective in preventing or spreading Covid-19, and for the safety and well-being of all participants, we recommend changing the venue to one that is available to ALL USATF Masters athletes  and implementing instead a program for Covid -19 testing for all athletes to participate in the USATF Masters 2022 Indoor National Championships.
