Dear family,

We definitely are a family, we have been demanding justice for our country when it comes to the Syrian displacement in Lebanon for almost 8 years now.

We never stopped working even when it seemed hopeless, we worked on law proposals to the consecutive cabinets, worked on the ground, raised awareness and collaborated with national entities in defending our society's day to day life.

Today there 2.2 million displaced Syrians in Lebanon of which 1.8 million are illegal and not registered.... however not everything is negative: we were able to get our plan, your plan, of safe zones in Syria where they could return to, to the European Union table and it will be discussed in the Brussels convention next month!

We should all exert pressure, any way we can on the European countries that will be voting, we have to ask for justice for Lebanon! Safe zones in Syria mean that the displaced Syrians in Lebanon can finally go home and live with dignity and a very heavy burden will be lifted from our beloved Lebanon
