The Boston Breakers (NWSL) was New England's only women’s soccer team. In 2018 it folded because of lack of funding. I, and many other fans of all ages, are aching to have a women’s team again.  This lack of a women’s team in our region is denying women at the same athletic level as the members of the New England Revolution (MLS) the opportunity to play at this level close to home, or at all because NWSL currently has only 9 teams compared to MLS's 24.  If we put funding and effort into reviving the Boston Breakers, the city will generate revenue and fans like me will have a home team to cheer for again.
