The stimulus bill under effect is obviously not serving everyone and this article from The New York Times confirms it. Rideshare drivers and many front-line workers are facing massive obstacles in acquiring their deserved financial support during this time. In some states, rideshare drivers have been ineligible to even apply for these packages. I cannot stress how important it is that people who have lost their jobs or been furloughed are eligible for the unemployment benefits. We are hurting our economy and our citizens by leaving blocks of people out of these economic support plans.
