What's new: Unfortunately, we didn't receive the intended amount of support last week for the petition, but we are still trying to gain more signatures. For future reference, our movement is called CER NYC, which stands for Coronavirus Economic Relief. Even though we are based in NYC, this petition hopes to cover people on a national level.

We are also accepting monetary donations at this time. If you are looking to help out, donating a small sum of money would help the petition get further recognition on change.org. It would help us enormously if even one person chipped in, but if everyone chipped in, the influx of new signers would lead to thousands of signatures, making the petition likely be printed in a publication. If this happens, it is very probable that we can get a bill passed through the senate extending financial relief to people throughout the country.
