Revoke the Hebron Funds tax-exempt status. Supporting Israeli segregation is not charity!

Revoke the Hebron Funds tax-exempt status. Supporting Israeli segregation is not charity!

The Issue

The Hebron Fund has 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity status. The Brooklyn based organization lists its mission as being “social and educational well being.” However, the Hebron Fund uses its tax-exempt status to directly and indirectly fund ideologically extreme violent settlers in the West Bank Hebron settlements. The Hebron Fund supplies money for such things as military and paramilitary activities, criminal activities, housing, education, and other forms of discrimination, freedom of movement violations, and more.

For more details on why the IRS should revoke the Hebron Fund's 501c3 tax exempt status see the complaint AVAAZ filed in 2015.
