Don't let the whales nuke first.

Whales do nothing for society, and are a waste of the world's resources. 

We should nuke them.

How do we know that whales don't have their own nukes, or at the very least are developing nuclear weaponry? If we don't strike soon, we might not have the chance to strike at all.

The US Government HAS nukes that they're never going to use anyway, so why not? Sure, it could be difficult to make sure we nuke all of the whales, but that's their problem. We can't do everything for them.
