Let Larry Gerrans come home!

Let Larry Gerrans come home!
The Issue
As many of you know, my Dad (Larry Gerrans) has been incarcerated since august 14, 2019 and moved three times (Santa Rita, Marin County, and San Francisco). All of his basic human rights have been violated and he has been stripped of everything he loves. With our past struggles of misrepresentation we have now finally found a team that is fighting for the truth to be told! All while his lawyer was horribly representing him, my dad was still respectful, kind, and patient never showing anger to anyone. When we went to visit him once a week he still had that bright smile on his face and wouldn’t shy away from his distinct laugh that we all terribly miss, after no one has been able to see him since March.
In the beginning of May he was so close to coming home due to his heart and high blood pressure conditions. Sadly the prosecutor had his brother write a letter stating “he was afraid of Larry if he was to return home” (they have always been best friends until his brother embezzled money). Larry Gerrans has never been a violent person, and has no criminal record. He would never hurt anyone! He was incarcerated on lies and we are now facing him to be moved to LA away from his family, lawyers and is infested with COVID-19 bacteria, due to the San Francisco Jail closing. His lawyer has requested him to be at home with an ankle monitor until he gets a new trial or sentencing, but the prosecution would rather him go to downtown LA and face dying than being put on home confinement (it’s very punitive). NON VIOLENT offenders are to be let out due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but the prosecution is persuaded by their own outcome with Larry’s case as his health continues to decline every day to where it is now life threatening.
My dad has always been my mentor and many other’s as well. He is a coach, a father, a husband, and my best friend. If this year has taught us anything it’s been about how unfair and untruthful our government is when they want a certain outcome. So need all of your help as we are coming to our last resorts to get him his basic human rights restored and back to his family! No person should have to be stripped of everything they love while fighting for medical help daily!
My dad wasn’t able to take my sister to college, dance with Mackenzie and I at our last father daughter dance, or celebrate holidays, but instead was forced to sit and wait for the day he could come back to his family which he has still not been granted. He has stood so strong throughout this whole year while lies about him have been published for the public to make their own ideas. Many of you know my dad, and you all know he is seen as a “human smiley face” who will always light up a room when he walks in. My dad is a community, family, and strong man who would do anything for anyone out of the kindness of his heart. He always tell me “tough times never last, tough people do” and that quote has stuck with me through this whole year. It kept me looking at the perspective of how hard times can be, but if you stay strong about it and fight your way, you can get through it! I ask you now to please give your time and restore LARRY GERRANS’ human rights and get him home to his family to save his health where he can fight where he is SAFE to get the truth out with his lawyers. Thank you so much for speaking for him while he is unable to speak for himself!
