Strong Towns' Chuck Marohn to Speak Here

Dear 2000 Friends of Allendale, Lots of great news in Allendale. We are cleaning up SWEPCO Park, removed more than thirty bags of trash and lawn waste after the city grudgingly agreed to mow last week and we are planning a celebration in SWEPCO Park on Saturday, October 15. An outgrowth of many hours of study and discussion in our meetings has been the need to bring outside speakers to Shreveport to start discussing ways that Shreveport can do a better job of doing Urban Planning. A group has formed to sponsor the first event of this type in Shreveport this coming weekend, October 7-8. The public events are free and open to everyone. Please come and be a part of the discussion Friday night at 5:30 at Artstation and Saturday morning at 11 at Artspace. See the link for details.
