Bring Transparency to Big Ag!

We need your help. Big Ag has been caught abusing commodity advertising programs to attack sustainable food companies. We need to stop this from happening again.
These programs – known as “checkoffs” – have been used by the beef, pork, and egg industries to undermine alternatives to factory farmed products. The Egg Board, for example, attempted to squash a plant-based company and prevent its products from being sold.
To ensure checkoffs are held accountable, The Good Food Institute is working with Senators Lee (R-UT) and Booker (D-NJ) and Representatives Brat (R-VA) and Titus (D-NV) to support two bills:
- The Opportunities for Fairness in Farming Act (OFF)
- The Voluntary Checkoff Program Participation Act
These bills are designed as commonsense measures to bring much-needed transparency and accountability to checkoff programs.
You can protect animals and the environment by keeping Big Ag checkoffs in check. Every signature counts!
