While some may consider the BP Deep Horizon Spill to be  a "settled" issue, there is no statute of limitations on murder.  "Corporate personhood" has been very unpopular, but since it's the law of the land, why isn't it enforced? Our new Attorney General could bring justice for the immense damages brought by BP's "...egregious" disregard for safety and the pittance in damages it paid compared to the list of actual stipulated fines for its categorized offenses.

The Wikipedia entry for AG Garland is cited here: "....in a number of split decisions on environmental law Garland 'favored contested EPA regulations and actions when challenged by industry, and in other cases he has accepted challenges brought by environmental groups.'[22]"

This history of principled decisions, coupled with his experience as a prosecutor gives fresh hope that "too big to jail" may fall as a foundation of law in the US.
