Each passing day brings the grim specter of drone attacks orchestrated by our very own government. Stability, peace, security – these fundamental human rights have become distant memories in our area and throughout the Amhara region.

The persistent targeting of Amhara civilians is a painful affront to our humanity, a cruel disruption to our lives. It undermines both individual dreams and collective aspirations, leaving us mired in a seemingly endless cycle of devastation.

Historically, the Amhara region has contributed immeasurably to Ethiopia's rich cultural heritage. Today, it faces an existential threat.
