The Victorian state election is only weeks away and the VEC Electoral Integrity and Regulation team have not provided a ruling on the Andrews Government survey scam which was designed to influence and ‘buy’ voters in key seats.

This was initially raised to the VEC on the 21st of September, weeks ago, and despite significant media attention and an official follow up by the complainant Charelle Ainslie (Independent Candidate for Nepean), on the 5th of October, the VEC have not made any comments in relation to these serious violations.

The Victorian public deserve an outcome before votes are cast. We cannot allow the issue, the buying of elections, to slip to the other side of the election and escape the real consequences of the Andrews Government’s actions.  Will the $5 gift card incentive per vote, ‘Paying for Votes’ scheme, be criminally prosecuted?

We demand the swift and transparent investigation, so the public have enough time to understand the Andrews Government’s manipulation and corruption techniques prior to pre-poll commencing in the coming weeks.
