URGENT SUPPORT NEEDED FOR BROOKHAVEN ANIMAL SHELTER
The Issue
URGENT SUPPORT NEEDED FOR BROOKHAVEN ANIMAL SHELTER AND ADOPTION CENTER
Brookhaven Animal Shelter is currently overwhelmed with animals while the current Supervisor, Linda Klampfl, has been placed at Town Hall for over six weeks. For years, local officials have ignored pleas from volunteers for increased funding for building repairs and additional staffing to meet the challenges presented by an ever-increasing stray population. Prior to her move, Supervisor Klampfl had effectively faced these challenges head on and hands on. Her dedication to animal welfare is unsurpassed. Since her absence, there has been a marked decline in the daily operation of the shelter. We urgently need public support to appeal to the Brookhaven Town Officials to immediately place Supervisor Klampfl back where she belongs at the Animal Shelter. How you can help:
