Appeal for Urgent Boundary Demarcation, Anti-Encroachment, and Ecological Rejuvenation of Autadewadi Lake, Undri

​Respected Authorities and Community Leaders,
​We, the residents of Undri and neighboring housing societies (including Godrej Prana, Tata projects, and surrounding communities), write to urgently request your support and intervention to preserve and restore Autadewadi Lake.

​Autadewadi Lake has historically been an important ecological asset and a vital halt for migratory birds. Today, rapid urbanization and unchecked encroachment pose a severe threat to this fragile wetland habitat.

We respectfully request the authorities and corporate partners to take the following actions:
A. ​Boundary Survey & Fencing: Carry out an official PMC boundary demarcation to halt illegal encroachment and debris dumping.
​B. Lake Rejuvenation: Initiate desilting, water quality restoration, and native flora plantation to rebuild the natural bird habitat.
​
​Protecting Autadewadi Lake is not only a vital cause for urban biodiversity, but it will also secure groundwater stability and provide clean green spaces for thousands of current and future residents in our growing community.

​We appeal to all environmental supporters, elected representatives, and municipal leaders to join hands with us in making this conservation petition a success.
