Hi everyone,
As we head into Thanksgiving, I want to share a quick message of gratitude. This was our founding year at 7-HOPE, and we were created for one purpose: to defend access to 7-OH through science, education, and strong advocacy.
What none of us expected was how fast the attacks would come. Calls from the FDA to schedule 7-OH. Statewide bans popping up in California, Kentucky, Ohio. Florida emergency-scheduling 7-OH overnight. And still, through all of it, our community did not stop fighting.
Because of you, the petition signers, emailers, sharers, and storytellers, we’ve been able to push back in more than a dozen states this year. Your actions truly matter, and those actions continue to be the reason this fight is still alive.
As we look toward 2026, we know more challenges are coming, yet we also see numerous opportunities to set responsible protections for minors, to advance science, to educate lawmakers why they should not reignite the war on drugs, and to educate the nation about the real people who rely on kratom and 7-OH.
And I want to say this with emphasis: I am incredibly thankful for the longtime kratom advocates who have joined this fight. You have seen how attacks on 7-OH threaten the entire plant, and you’ve locked arms with us. That unity matters more than most people will ever understand.
