We are deeply concerned about the dangerous conditions at the junction near the Clonpriest school in Gortroe. This area suffers from poor visibility, speeding traffic, and a lack of safety measures such as signage and pedestrian crossings. 
As parents and local residents, we have witnessed numerous near-miss incidents, and we fear it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs.

We would like you to sign this petition, as concerns have already been raised with the local council and relevant authorities in the past. However, no safety measures have been implemented to date.

We urgently call on the authorities to take immediate action, including:

* Liaising with the local council or road safety authority
* Installing appropriate signage and pedestrian crossings
* Requesting the assignment of a school traffic warden
* Implementing traffic-calming measures through Cork County Council

The safety of our children and the broader community must be prioritised. We respectfully urge swift and decisive measures before a preventable tragedy occurs.
