Thank you for the correspondence. I have also added LCC highways and TRO department to this. I have responded to various communications since the terrible incident and advised that I have spoken at district level about my concerns around this area and parking. Since becoming a County Councillor I have also carried out several LCC highways visits and have had communications with the police and school. 

I have also coordinated the purchase of 4 mini digital speed indication units which capture data, with other district councillors from our ward budgets which will be placed at intervals and for varying amounts of time in a variety of locations and Pennygate is the area I have selected as a priority area to be monitored. This was a few weeks prior to this incident. Councillor M Hasan and I will also in the coming days be placing a number of 30MPH signs up in the hope of further trying to enforce appropriate driver behaviour.
