PETITION TO NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL FROM PAPPLEWICK PARISH COUNCIL

Gedling Borough Council's proposed local development plan for additional housing in the local area will exacerbate the serious safety issues being experienced by residents, pedestrians and drivers at the Griffin's Head junction, in Papplewick. 

Papplewick Parish Council calls upon Nottinghamshire County Council to urgently review and provide a resolution to the current situation with regards to the volume and speed of traffic around the village, paying particular attention to the 'Griffins Head' crossroads and the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and drivers, both in terms of the volume of traffic and the speed limits on the approaches to the junctions.
