Urgent:  This is an emergency petition to Health Canada to study the effectiveness of drugs like Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Zinc and Azithromycin for early treatment of Covid. 

Many countries around the world have HCQ + Zinc + Azithromycin as their official early treatment protocol for Covid including India.

A meta analysis of 166 studies has now shown that HCQ is extremely effective as early treatment and reduces hospitalizations by 80%

My parents are in their 70's with pre existing conditions and I cannot imagine them having to wait until they are hospitalized to get any treatment. I was told by my family doctor that they don't prescribe any treatment for covid other than tylenol. 

Considering that we are implementing devastating shutdowns to preserve hospital capacity, it is of extreme urgency that we study HCQ/Ivermectin and grant it emergency authorization for early treatment of Covid if found appropriate. 

A WHO sponsored study now indicates Ivermectin reduces Covid mortality by 83%. It is already being used in India and other countries for many months now.

Update Jan 25, 2021:

As of Jan 15, US is now allowing doctors to prescribe Ivermectin for Covid. It is now a "neither for nor against " recommendation for Ivermectin. Earlier it was "against " and doctors cannot be penalized now for prescribing Ivermectin for Covid.
