Please help me protect my 9-year-old daughter

 

I am a mother asking for help to protect my nine-year-old daughter.

 

She is a British child, and serious safeguarding concerns have been raised about her welfare.

 

As a mother, my whole existence is to love and protect my daughter. She is currently facing being taken from me and returned to a situation where serious safeguarding concerns have been raised and documented.

 

I am a mother with no legal experience, facing a complex international legal battle. I am deeply concerned that my daughter’s voice and safeguarding concerns have not yet been given the consideration I believe they require.

 

I am asking for 100,000 people to stand with us and call for her return to be stopped while these safeguarding concerns are properly considered.

 

I am not asking the public to decide my legal case. I am not asking anyone to interfere with the courts.

 

I am asking people to stand with a vulnerable child and say that her safety, welfare and voice must matter.

 

I NEED YOUR HELP

 

My daughter has been through an extremely difficult period.

 

Serious concerns about her welfare have been raised with relevant authorities and professionals. She has spoken about matters that have caused significant safeguarding concerns.

 

I believe these concerns must be properly heard, assessed and addressed before any return takes place.

 

MY REQUEST IS SIMPLE:

 

STOP HER RETURN.

 

Keep her safe in the UK while the safeguarding concerns are properly considered.

 

Give her the opportunity to be heard.

 

Give the relevant professionals the opportunity to properly assess her circumstances.

 

Put her welfare first.

 

She is nine years old. She should not have to carry the weight of an international family dispute.

 

She needs adults to stand up for her.
