Friends, Neighbours and Supporters of the Frant Road Safety Campaign.  The Mead School, nurturing young minds aged 3-11, is a cornerstone of our community. 

Recently, we've been alerted by one of our supporters to a distressing incident from a few years ago – a schoolgirl was hit by a car while trying to cross Frant Road on the pedestrian crossing, resulting in a hospitalization. This is a harrowing reminder of the very real dangers our children face daily on Frant Road.

In response, the Frant Road Safety Coalition has reached out to The Mead School, seeking their active involvement in our campaign. Our goal is simple yet crucial: to make Frant Road and its surrounding streets safer for our most vulnerable residents, including the young pupils of The Mead School.

We believe that every child has the right to a safe journey to and from school. No parent, guardian, or teacher should ever fear for a child's safety on the road.

This is where we need your help.
