Animals wholly deserve a life free from pain, fear, and misery. What allegedly happened at Hartshead Meats not only violates this basic principle but also breaches the trust of consumers who expect humane standards to be upheld in the food industry—an outcome that is absolutely unacceptable.

Furthermore, testimonies from former employees corroborate allegations of severe misconduct at this facility. Although modern science recognises animals as sentient beings, these animals were subjected to substandard conditions and treatment in direct violation of established animal welfare laws. Such systematic cruelty demands immediate accountability.

It is absolutely imperative that a full investigation be conducted by the relevant authorities and, if allegations are verified, immediate measures be taken to close down Hartshead Meats.
