“Petition to Stop Animal Cruelty in the Philippines”
We, as undersigned residents living in the Philippines, write this petition to urge the Philippine Government and Agencies to the issue of animal cruelty in the country.
The motive behind this petition is for the animals that are mistreated around the streets of the Philippines and as citizens that experience empathy for the animals, We cannot ignore the suffering and punishment and punishment that this mute victims go through.
ISSUE:
There are shockingly many allegations of animal abuse the Philippines. A troubling disrespect for animal’s life and is evident and in the increasing number of cruelty reports, according to the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS)
We have to make a decision, we must encourage and inform law enforcements and municipal governments to enforce the Animal Welfare Act (R. A 8485) more strictly.
This law might completely lessen or possibly completely decrease animal abuse cases if it were given top priority.
Together, we can advocate for more strict laws protecting animals and tougher penalties for those who will be caught to have abusing them (animals).
OUR DEMANDS:
- Strengthen Animal Welfare Laws
- Increase funding for Animal Welfare.
- Implement Animal Shelters around the country.
– Raise public awareness.
Together, we can make a change. We can prevent animal abuse in the Philippines. Let’s all protect and fight for the animals who experience cruelty and abuse (from the people).
Remember to stay informed about Animal Welfare issues in the Philippines and continue advocating for positive change.
Request For Action:
- Assess the issue regarding animal cruelty.
- Investing in useful things (ex: shelter and food) to secure safety.
