For some, the wildfires have brought physical damage to their establishments, while for others, the aftermath has led to significant declines in foot traffic and revenue. In a city that has already endured a challenging economic landscape, including record numbers of closures in recent years, this additional burden has pushed many small businesses to the brink.

We respectfully urge you to take immediate action to amplify public messaging that encourages Angelenos to support their local businesses during this critical time. A strong campaign urging residents to dine out, shop locally, attend events, and engage with cultural institutions would provide much-needed momentum to help these businesses recover.
