FIRST,
We had a long meeting and a detailed discussion with the National NSUI President, Mr. Vinod Jakhar, in his cabin, along with all the students and parents.
We discussed what we have faced so far and how we can take this forward on a larger and more effective platform.
He assured us that he would support us in every possible way. He also connected me with an NSUI lawyer who is currently studying our concerns.
He is ready to grant an NOC for the protest, and he said that if 80–100 students are ready to join, we can escalate this on a larger platform within a few days.
SECOND,
We had a press conference with around 7 media channels, including TV9, Aaj Tak, ANI, Times Now, etc. We properly explained our concerns with the support of the students and parents who were present there.
Special thanks to Nadia Ma’am and Dr. Nitin Sir for confidently addressing and confronting the media on our behalf.
THIRD,
While we were gathering at the NSUI office, the police received information internally and visited the office in casual clothes to collect some details.
They initially thought that we might be planning to go against the law or conduct an unauthorised protest.
We handled the situation very politely and assured them that we would not violate any law or disturb the law-and-order situation.
FOURTH,
Tomorrow, Dr. Nitin Sir and I will visit the DCP HAX Branch / Parliament Street Police Station to submit our memorandum for the Health Ministry. We have also been assured that we will receive an official acknowledgement/receiving, through which our memorandum can be forwarded to Shri J. P. Nadda Ji.
