Appeal for Swift Processing of Express Entry Applications at RROC Ottawa Visa Office
The Issue
We, the candidates of Express Entry for Canadian Permanent Residency, namely the Federal Skilled Workers and Provincial Nominee Applicants, are writing this urgent message to express our profound concern and frustration regarding the alarming delay in the processing of our applications at the Rapid Response Operations Center (RROC) Ottawa Visa Office.
It has been an agonizing and seemingly endless wait for over 3 to 4 months, during which we have not witnessed any tangible progress on our applications. We understand that thorough processing is essential to ensure the integrity and fairness of the immigration system. However, the current state of inaction is causing undue anxiety and uncertainty among deserving applicants who are eagerly awaiting their approvals.
Comparatively, it is disheartening to note that other visa offices, such as Sydney, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Montréal, have been processing applications at a significantly faster rate. To our dismay, applicants who submitted their applications as recently as January 2023 have already started receiving their approvals from these offices. On the other hand, we find ourselves baffled by the fact that there are individuals who have been waiting for approval from as far back as 2022 at RROC Visa Office.
We sincerely appeal to the relevant authorities to intervene and urge the Visa Officers at RROC Ottawa to expedite the processing of both inland and outland applications. We firmly believe that timely and efficient processing will not only alleviate the worries of the applicants but also uphold the reputation of the Canadian immigration system as a welcoming and responsible destination for skilled individuals.
We understand the complexities involved in the immigration process, but we firmly believe that the delay experienced at RROC Ottawa Visa Office is far from reasonable. As skilled professionals with ambitions to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Canada, we are left feeling demoralized by the lack of progress on our applications.
In light of the situation, we respectfully request immediate action to address this pressing matter and bring about a much-needed resolution. We hope that the relevant authorities will prioritize our appeal and restore our faith in the system by ensuring prompt and fair processing of our applications.
