Urgent Appeal: Concerns Regarding Recent Actions Against Mally's Wildlife Sanctuary
Why this petition matters

Imagine a sanctuary filled with hope and love, dedicated to giving a second chance to adorable raccoons in need. This is Mally's Third Chance Raccoon Rescue, a place where compassion knows no bounds. Yet, a recent heartbreaking event has shaken us all, and we need your support to right this wrong.
On the week of Sept 25, our beloved Racoon Rescue was ambushed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF). What followed can only be described as a nightmare. They seized their phones, forced staff to leave, and, most heartbreakingly, took away the raccoons we've worked so tirelessly to protect. These innocent creatures were loaded into live traps and transported without access to water. It's a scene that keeps us up at night, and it happened right here in Canada.
We refuse to let this stand. We believe in the power of our community to make change happen, and that's why we're asking for your help.
Our petition has four essential requests:
1. Immediate Transparency: We demand to know where our raccoons are and how they are faring after their abrupt removal from our wildlife rehabilitation facility.
2. Safe Return: We implore the Ministry to return these raccoons to Mally's wildlife rehabilitation facility, their home of love and care, where they were on their way to rehabilitation and a chance at returning to the wild.
3. Investigation: We call for a thorough and impartial investigation into the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) actions, ensuring that the truth comes to light.
4. Accountability: Those responsible for these actions must be held accountable, and ethical treatment of our wildlife must always be the priority.
We, as a united front, have the power to change the course of this story. Together, we can show the Ministry of Natural Resources that we will not stand by while our wildlife is treated unjustly. Canada has a rich history of being stewards of the environment, and we demand nothing less than the highest standards of care for our precious wildlife.
Join us in signing this petition to make a stand for the raccoons, for Mally's Third Chance Raccoon Rescue, and for our collective commitment to protecting our natural treasures. Let's show the world that compassion and unity can make a real difference.
Together, we can bring our raccoons home.
With unwavering hope and determination,
