As the upcoming elections approach, we, the concerned citizens of India, urge you to prioritize Animal Rights . Animals are sentient beings capable of experiencing pain and suffering, and their welfare deserves serious consideration in our Nation's policies.
welfare is a critical issue that affects not only the lives of animals but also reflects the values and priorities of a society. Across the globe, there is a growing recognition of the importance of protecting the rights and well-being of animals. As a political party committed to representing the interests of all citizens, it is essential to address this issue in your agenda.
Including animal rights during your election Canvas demonstrates a commitment to Compassion, Ethical governance, and Sustainability. By advocating for policies that promote the humane treatment of animals, your party can contribute to creating a more just and equitable society for both humans and animals alike.
Including a comprehensive animal rights section in your commitment demonstrates your commitment to:
1.Make our new Parliament building cruelty-free (Innocent animals and birds should not be slaughtered, cooked or consumed in the PARLIAMENT premises).
2.To present and pass Animal Welfare Bill, 2011, revised in 2014 drawn out by the Animal Welfare Board of India and submitted to the MoEFCC {Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change).
3. Grazing Land Commissions to be formed with enough effective powers to stop conversion of grazing land for human or commercial use.
4. Meat shops must display clearly that "EATING MEAT CAUSES CANCER" (As per the October 2015 WHO Report-https://www.who.int/news-room/questions-and answers/item/cancer-carcinogenicity-of-the-consumption-of-red-meat-and-processed-meat.
5. Ethical Treatment: Enacting stricter laws against animal cruelty, both in factory farming and companion animal care.
6. Environmental Sustainability: Recognizing the link between intensive animal agriculture and environmental degradation.
7. Public Health: Addressing the public health concerns associated with factory farming and antibiotic overuse in animals.
By outlining specific policies on these issues, your party will resonate with a growing segment of voters who care deeply about animal welfare. Here are some potential areas your party could address in your party's commitment:
A ban on cruel practices such as live exports and battery cages.
Mandatory labeling that informs consumers about the production methods used for animal products.
Increased funding for animal shelters and veterinary care for companion animals.
Support for the development of plant-based alternatives to animal products.
By including these measures during your election campaign, your party can demonstrate leadership and foresight on this critical issue. I believe that by standing up for animal rights, we can build a more compassionate and sustainable future for generations to come.
We believe that strong animal rights policies are not only ethically sound but also contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate future for India. Including these issues in your manifesto demonstrates your commitment to creating a society that respects all living beings.
Most of the political parties claim to follow the ideology of the Father of the Nation Shri Mahatma Gandhi Ji who says" The Greatness of any nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated." We hope that all the parties will ponder over this grave matter and start working in the favour of these voiceless souls i.e. animals and birds.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to seeing your and your party's commitment to Animal Rights and Display of the WHO 2015 Report at the Hospitals and others necessary sites.
Sincerely yours
