This is Maryam with one of her little twin brothers.

For most of us, bread is something ordinary. For Maryam’s family, having enough food, clean water and the basic things they need each day has become a constant struggle.

Maryam is only 9 years old. She and her family are living in a tent in Gaza, trying to make it through each day with what they have.

There are only a few days left until the end of the month, and we still haven’t raised enough to cover the family’s essential expenses.

The money raised helps them pay for food, water, medicine, the land where their tent stands, clothing and repairs needed to keep their shelter habitable.
