The situation for Maryam and her family has become frightening once again. The rats have returned to the tent. They come at night, searching for food, crawling through their shelter while the family tries to sleep. The photo attached shows the recent rat infestation that has been affecting Gaza.  After everything they have already endured, they are once again living in fear inside the very place that is supposed to keep them safe.

Your previous kindness has helped them survive, but the need has not disappeared. They are still struggling to cover the cost of the land their tent stands on, basic food, clean water, and other daily essentials that have become incredibly expensive. Every day is a battle simply to stay safe and get through to the next one.
