Dear friends,
We want to thank each of you for your continued support for Maryam. Your signatures, shares, and donations are helping us keep her story alive and bring her closer to safety.
We are sharing two recent photos of Maryam. In one, she is eating a small apple, a moment of strength, though her body remains extremely fragile and skeletal from months of untreated medical condition. In another, she is showing her new clothes we were able to buy for her, thanks to your generosity.
What is extraordinary is that, even as an innocent child in the middle of a genocide, Maryam still has the ability to smile. That smile comes from the knowledge that she is not forgotten, that so many people around the world are standing with her.
But Maryam does not stand alone. She represents thousands of children in Gaza who are struggling to survive, many of whom do not make it through the obliteration. Your action is not just a symbol of hope; it is a permanent stand for humanity, justice, and the right of every child to live.
Maryam still has not been evacuated. Each day that passes places her at greater risk. We are continuing to pressure governments and international organisations to accept her medical evacuation, but time is not on her side.
Our next goal is to reach 100,000 signatures in the coming days, so we can present Maryam’s case directly to Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Every single signature is a voice for her survival and a step closer to justice.
Please continue to share this petition widely, together we can make sure that Maryam’s voice, and the voices of countless innocent children in Gaza like her, are heard.
With gratitude and determination,
Sana
