We want to share with you the latest update on Maryam in Gaza who we are fighting to evacuate for urgent medical treatment.

Maryam’s condition remains extremely serious. She is now severely underweight, unable to walk, and suffering daily from weakness and pain. Doctors have confirmed that she requires urgent specialist nutritional stabilisation, gastrointestinal assessment  and rehabilitation, treatment  that is simply not available in Gaza.

Crucially, nutritional therapy alone does not work for Maryam. Despite attempts, her body cannot absorb the nutrients she needs. This means she requires immediate admission to a specialist hospital abroad, where she can receive advanced diagnostic testing and life-saving treatment that goes beyond food aid or supplements.

We have received her most recent photos, which clearly show the toll this illness has taken on her. These images are heartbreaking, but they also show Maryam’s strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship.

We are continuing to press governments, hospitals, and international organisations for her evacuation. Every single signature on this petition strengthens our case and shows decision-makers that the world is watching.
