For years, our sanctuary has provided a safe, loving home to animals in need – rescued from neglect, abandonment, and abuse. We are a small but dedicated team that has poured our time, resources, and hearts into building a sanctuary where these animals can finally live free from harm. We have faced challenge after challenge and now, we are on the verge of losing everything due to a combination of legal misunderstandings, misguidance, and unaffordable fines. We are reaching out to you for help – to stop an auction that threatens our sanctuary, our animals, us, and our mission.

In 2021, we acquired this property as a permanent home for our rescued animals. We were assured that it was suitable for living and had only minor compliance issues. From the start, we tried to cooperate fully with local authorities, attending a meeting at the town hall where we received guidance on what might be required. Three years later, we have received devastating news: a €40,455 fine has been placed on the property, and the debt collection process is in its final stages with an auction scheduled. If this auction proceeds, we risk not only losing our property but also the home and safety of the animals who depend on us.

We request a suspension of the auction, a reduction or reconsideration of these fines, and the option to set up an installment payment plan.
