On March 12, 2025, I received a reply from the National Assembly’s Petitions Officer, who confirmed receipt of our submission. They have courteously asked me to fill out an enclosed form, to be submitted within a 3-day timeframe (a request I have already fulfilled). They have also committed to keeping us updated on the progress and/or outcome as the process unfolds.

Let us remain steadfast and hopeful, for as Nelson Mandela once said, "It always seems impossible until it is done." Together, our collective efforts can bring about the change needed to secure and rehabilitate the Witherow Dam Quarry, ensuring a safer future for our community. ✊🏽
